1 – Does Raptor Magnet come with a travel case?

2 – What batteries do Raptor Magnet support?

Raptor Magnet supports V-mount battery with V-mount plate available in shipment. However, you can power the magnet with a D-tap supported battery, you can buy the battery easily in your country, as long as it supports D-tap connector. Various V-mount batteries option for your choice from AMAZON

3 – Can I use Gold mount battery with Raptor Magnet?

Yes, you can if the battery supports D-tap out put. 

4 – What happens if you accidently loose power to the magnet?

There is a safety bolt that keeps it in place. It can only be released when you pull the red button at the front. When the power fails (as we have tested) you loose the magnet holding the plate/ remote head firmly in place but it still stays attached.

5 – Raptor Magnet – Top Mount

Raptor Magnet support Mitchell-base top mount only. It allows you to connect to Vibration Isolator, crane, jib or custom rigs easily.

6 – Raptor Magnet – Bottom Mount

  • Ronin 2 or Movi Pro:
    You can mount the gimbal directly to the Magnet Universal Plate. Please refer to the mounting hole pattern here.

    Alternatively, you can use the Magnet to Tube Adapter, which supports dual-operator handling for easier gimbal operation.

9 – What’s include in Raptor Magnet – Ronin 2 Set?

The Raptor Magnet – Ronin 2 Set includes:

  • 1x Raptor Magnet & Case 
  • 1x Magnet to Tube Adapter
  • 1x Dtap Power Cable
  • 1x Ronin 2 Gimbal Dock
  • 1x Gimbal Mount to Tube

What you can do with these items:

  • With the Raptor Magnet & Case, the kit includes a Steel Plate and Universal Plate for mounting the Ronin 2 via the Universal Mount or Top Mounting Block.

  • The Magnet to Tube Adapter allows the gimbal to be operated by two operators, or can be used in situations where the Top Mounting Block is not available in the package.

  • The D-Tap Power Cable serves as a backup power option.

  • The Ronin 2 Gimbal Dock and Gimbal Mount to Tube can be used with the Ronin 2 independently and do not require the Raptor Magnet.
